Atomic Power Station in Armenia Causes Danger for the Region
Seminar on international cooperation for Central Asian and Caucasian countries within Nuclear-ban Treaty Organization was concluded yesterday.

Wide exchange of opinions about struggle against nuclear smuggling in Central Asian and Caucasian countries, seismic zones in regions and other issues were conducted in the seminar.

According to him, work of Atomic Power Station in Armenia increases activity of seismic zones in the region and causes real danger.
According to Oytay Babazade, these cases are often observed in the territory of Armenia. "If it continues so, Armenia will face natural diasters and quakes in near future," he said.
Babazade shed light upon non-plausible facts about Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export pipeline. Babazade disproved the facts that this pipeline passes through seismic zones and estimated it as a fib of Armenians.
Report prepared as a result of the meeting was discussed at the end of seminar. Russian and Iranian representatives put forward proposals connected with making amendments to several items of the report. Representative from Russsia Oleg Fyodorov informed that works are being carried out between Russia and Iran in direction of struggle against nuclear smuggling. Fyodorov considered that it is reasonable to reflect this issue in the report.
The report was approved after discussions. Measures to be taken by Azerbaijan in this direction were reflected in the document.
