Ufa – a clean city. This opinion was expressed overwhelming majority of citizens in answering the question “What do you think, Ufa – a clean city?” The positive evaluation was given 9 out of 10 respondents in the poll, conducted by the administration of GO UFA RB together with the Research Center “Sotsiomarket” in April 2011. Sample consisted of 1,000 residents of Ufa. On this July 4 BelTA BakuToday in the press-service of administration of Ufa.
The study Ufimtsev asked to answer the question of how to change the environmental situation in recent years. About a third of respondents said that environmental condition of the city over the past 2-3 years has improved.
2 times more respondents this year compared with 2005, reported that in Ufa, the ecological situation more favorable than in other Russian cities. In 2005, these estimates were 18% in 2011 – 38%. Others believe that the environmental situation is the same, and only 7% believe that it is worse.
Positive perception of the residents of the capital confirmed by the increase in positive ratings of health status – 60% (2010 – 55%), as well as holiday destinations in the city (forest parks, parks): if in 2005, positive ratings were only 26 7%, but this year – 57.7%.
Over the past 5 years has also decreased Ufimtsev concern issues such as “polluted water”, “dirty streets, yards, parks, gardens, squares,” “dirty water”, “reduction of green areas.” The relevance of these problems this year, on average, less than a quarter.
Along with the overall positive assessment of the urban environment, the townspeople were in favor and that causes the greatest concern. So, from 2005 to 10% increase in the number Ufimtsev concerned about “increases in vehicles on the streets”, “noise” and “contaminated.”
