About a hundred skiing and snowboarding from Ivanovo, Kostroma, Vladimir, Yaroslavl, Moscow region will participate in the Governor’s Cup competitions in the Ivanovo region. The competitions will take place 4 and 5 February in the ski complex “Lovely mountain” in the city of Plëse. On the first day of the athletes will compete in two types: the Alpine slalom and Snowboard-Slalom. On the second day of the scheduled downhill competitions in skiing and snowboarding. In each program winners will be selected in the categories: “men”, “women”, “up to 16 years for boys and girls up to 16 years.”
As described Andrey Čužbinkin, the organizers plan to use both of the slope. Thus, parallel slalom competitions will be held at the “green” (academic) slope, downhill-the “red”. “This separation will make the competition more than entertainment, and viewers will be able to not only watch the performances of athletes, but also enjoy free slope”, he stressed.
