Dynamo striker and national team of Ukraine Andriy Shevchenko said that the year 2012 will be special for the whole of Ukrainian football.
“This year probably will be for the Ukrainian football is the most important in its history. We will hold the European Championships and the players team through games in its competitions to come up to the euro in decent condition. All fans are waiting for our team and a good result, “said Shevchenko told the Club’s press service.
It should be noted that the Euro-2012 will be held in Poland and Ukraine. Opponents of the Ukrainian team at the group stage of Euro-2012 will be the national teams of France, England and Sweden.
