Belarus: Gomel meat was gone from the shelves

The trading network of Gomel no meat on the shelves – even in retail stores, factory farm “SOG” and agricultural complex “Southern.” This was announced August 10 edition of the Belarusian naviny.by with reference to those engaged in trade of the city. According to staff the shop, factory farm “SOG”, by August 30, a cut of pork will not be on sale. This fact is explained to persons in the trade that currently “do not beat the pigs, and grow.”

According to the administration of agricultural complex “Southern” lack of meat products due to excessive demand for pork, which sold out in four hours. Representatives of the agricultural complex indicate that the company did not reduce the production or export products to Russia. The department of trade and services Gomel executive committee said that the meat products present in the trading network of the city – including retail stores mills “SOG” and “South”.

As reported BakuToday, according to the National Statistics Committee of Belarus (National Statistical Committee) prices for goods and services in July 2011 has increased to the level of December 2010 to 41%. Recall from August 3, 2011 in Belarus increased by 5% marginal cost prices for bread, dairy products and meat. Prior to this decision the Ministry of Economy of Belarus № 87 of June 6, 2011.
