British nurses banned “buddylist” patients

British nurses formally cautioned against discussing work issues in social networks.

As noted by the British Council for Midwifery and Nursing, more than half of the 660 thousand British middle-level health workers – active users of social networks and blogs. Now they were forbidden to place a network of personal data or photos of patients, colleagues and discuss the work and share personal and professional accounts.

Besides health care workers are advised not to “buddylist” patients even after treatment.
