The price of Russian natural gas to the Republic of Armenia will not change until April 1, 2012, said July 13 at a press conference, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan.
He thus refuted the publication of the Armenian media about the alleged rise in the price of Russian natural gas to Armenia from $ 180 to $ 210 per thousand cubic meters. “Gas is not expensive and before April 1, 2012 did not go up. It is now worth $ 180″, – assured Minister. Meanwhile, in “Gazprom” prefer not to talk about it, citing commercial secrecy.
OAO “Gazprom” announced earlier that in 2011 Belarus will sell 1000 cubic meters gas at an average of $ 230, an increase of prices by 25%, Ukraine – for $ 280-290, it is more expensive by 10%, and Moldova – about $ 300.
