Formuzal: Status of Gagauzia in Moldova will not lower federal than of Transnistria

 

Seen (head) of Gagauzia Mihail Formuzal supports Moldova’s entry into the Customs Union of Russia-Belarus-Kazakhstan, as well as I am sure that the “Transnistrian issue will be resolved through federalization of Moldova. As reported by 27 January correspondent BakuToday the press service of the Governor, Formuzal said during a visit to Vulcanesti. The head of the autonomy emphasized that in the case of federalization, the status of Gagauzia could not be lower than those of Transnistria.

In Vulkaneštah Formuzal met with a number of business leaders and institutions of the city. Within the framework of the meetings was discussed in approving the budget for the year 2012 Gagauzia. The head of the Authority reported that on Monday, 30 January there will be a meeting of the Joint Commission with the participation of representatives of the Executive Committee and budget Commission of the people’s Assembly of Gagauzia, as well as specialists from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova. “I asked the people’s Assembly of Gagauzia to promptly hold a session and approve the budget of the authority,” said Mihail Formuzal.
