French cellist Emanuel Bertrand and pianist Pascal Amoyel will perform chamber music at the Azerbaijan State Philharmony on May 2, the Assa Irada reported today.
The French musicians will perform works by Ernest Shosson, Richard Strauss and Olivier Griffin at the concert to be organized by the embassy and the Philharmony.
Bertrand, a graduate of the State High Music Conservatory in Paris, became winner of the international Rostropovich contest held in Paris in 1994. She also won the New instrumental performer nomination at the presentation of Victorie de la Musique awards in 2002.
