In Nagorno-Karabakh 1 thousand 560 with cancer

 

In Nagorno-Karabakh on January 1, 2011 registered a 560 thousand with cancer, including patients who are registered as far back as the 1970s.

As the correspondent BakuToday Stepanakert, in 2010 there were 304 such patients.

Cancer patients under government orders in the Republican Oncological Dispensary of the NKR is free treatment and medical care. In full by chemotherapy and radiotherapy – partly, no gamma-ray therapy. There is a need for modern equipment, komyuternom tomograph, as well as some specialists.

In cases where there is a need for complex examinations or surgery, patients are sent within the state procurement of the National Cancer Center in Yerevan.
