In Pushkin near St. Petersburg opened another home for the elderly

 

Today, 13 July, hosted the opening ceremony of a special residential homes for senior citizens living alone in Pushkin. As the correspondent BakuToday Social Policy Committee of St. Petersburg, the event was attended by representatives of the Committee for the construction of St. Petersburg and head of administration, Pushkin District of St. Petersburg Igor Pahorukov.

As noted in the department, a special house designed for 55 apartments, of which 46 – one bedroom. On the ground floor is the office day care with training and event facilities. Gym equipped with sports facilities. The house meets the standards and requirements for accessibility for the disabled and other low mobile populations.

Currently, 36 applications for the decorated room in a special residential home. The apartments, designed for living veterans of World War II, installed kitchen furniture in the governor’s charity program “duty.” Special house in Pushkin will be the 18th house in St. Petersburg, built for living lonely senior citizens living alone and couples of advanced age.

As the correspondent BakuToday on the committee in 2015 in St. Petersburg will operate 28 special homes for the elderly of St. Petersburg. Construction of houses is part of the Address list of design and construction of homes of social services for 2010-2014. Apartments in the so-called single sotsdomah granted to senior citizens living alone and elderly couples. This is a common residential house in which elderly people live in the warrant and the contract of employment, self-pay housing, utilities and phone. They are not stationary social service agencies, but their residents are provided with all forms of social services provided by applicable law. Apartments in a special residential building is not subject to privatization, exchange, subletting, renting. This feature plays an important role in ensuring the safety of older persons living alone, as property and personal. Residents of special houses can not be afraid to be victims of fraud, because the apartments in these buildings are owned in St. Petersburg.

Today in St. Petersburg, there are 17 special houses for 1056 apartments in 12 areas intended to stay about 1,200 senior citizens.
