In the Belgorod region is preparing to implement a project to create a regional intellectual innovation system. This was discussed on May 21 at the first meeting of the Supervisory Board Belgorod intellectual innovation system (BIIS) At the Governor Yevgeny Savchenko area, BelTA BakuToday the press service of the regional government.
As noted at the meeting, at the moment of conception BIIS developed and should begin its implementation in practice. The meeting participants identified the main objectives of the system: the production of intelligence, manufacturing innovation and production of social capital. There is now a plan of priority actions to launch and implement the Belgorod intellectual innovation system. It amounts to the development of an innovative environment, the development of urban centers and rural areas, upgrading of road infrastructure and the development of biological agriculture in the region.
An example of implementation in the region of the innovative environment can be the building of an innovative set of “Aurora Park” in the southwestern part of Belgorod. According to the publication “Kommersant”, the “Aurora Park” to enter seven core business areas: Agri, the urban environment and urban management, new energy, international logistics, medicine and the future of Slavic culture. In the housing in the park will be able to live up to 22 thousand and work about 10 thousand people. Moreover, housing will be rented. The total investment in the “Aurora Park” should amount to 25 billion rubles. In addition, we plan to reconstruct the Belgorod airport and a school of strategy, which will produce an elite managerial staff for the needs of the Belgorod region.
Head Department of Education, Culture and Youth Policy of Yuri Kovrizhnykh informed the Council of Educational Complex BIIS. Within the complex will be set up business incubators on the basis of Belgorod universities, as well as industrial and educational complexes. Much attention will be given to identifying and supporting talented students, which would reduce the outflow of personnel from the scientific sphere.
