Authorities of the Chelyabinsk region decided to start implementation in the region of “educational program for training specialists in nuclear medicine.” Training of highly qualified professionals is part of a cluster of civilian nuclear technology in the Urals Federal District and a joint venture of two regions – Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk, told reporter August 15 BakuToday in the government press service of the Chelyabinsk region.
Retraining for nuclear medicine will be in the South Ural Institute of Biophysics, Institute of Technology and Ozersk-branch of the national nuclear research university MEPI.
Industries in which graduates will be involved these institutions – is the development and introduction of new high-tech innovative diagnostic and therapeutic products based on nuclear technology, the production of radiopharmaceuticals, maintenance of high techniques, including positron emission and computer tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, gamma- camera.
Note that this university is the main but not the only school that will prepare these employees. Specialists in the program will be trained in the Oncology Center, Medical Academy in the departments.
