In Turkey, have been hacked sites of state structures

Evening, June 9, many sites of state structures in Turkey have been hacked by the international community, Anonymous, which thus protested against the intention of the authorities of this country to introduce measures to filter content on the Internet, which come into force in August.

Turkish media pay attention to the fact that the hacking was made three days before the upcoming June 12 elections in Turkey, and therefore do not exclude the possibility that hackers may try to disable a computer system CEC of the country on election day.

The first attack on the Turkish sites of state institutions, called “Operation Turkey”, was launched on Thursday at 18:00 local time and is directed against the Department of Information and Communication Technologies. Despite the measures taken by that office, some time later, his home network to become unavailable to users.

Some time been inaccessible to other websites of governmental institutions in Turkey, including the management of Meteorology and social protection.

Hackers break implemented by DOS-attack, which involves sending a large number of requests to the server site to its overload. Turkish authorities have announced their intention to punish the attackers.

“We’re not going to sleep and get back to hacking the hacker group, for this we have a special department” – the head of the Turkish Association for the fight against cybercrime Yavuz Kosoglu.
