On Saturday, 28 January, residents of Kaliningrad and region prestavitsâ the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of the Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra, reported today, 27 January BakuToday in the press centre of the Ministry of culture of Lithuania.
Klajpedčane led Mindaugas Bačkaus, present at the Court of listeners “Concerto grosso, RV 565″ and “Concerto in D major, RV 93″ Antonio Vivaldi and orchestral parties from Tchaikovsky’s Opera “Eugene Onegin”.
In the second part of the concert will include works by modern composers. Together with the Orchestra will perform the Kaliningrad guitarist Valery Chaykin.
As previously reported BakuToday, representatives of culture of Lithuania has repeatedly stated that cultural exchange between Lithuania and the Kaliningrad region is serving to strengthen good-neighbourly relations. Carried out joint cultural projects, for example, to preserve the heritage of the founder of the Lithuanian literature Kristionasa Donelajtisa, whose Memorial Museum is located on the territory of the region.
