10 February in Turkmenistan are members of the National Assembly and of the Central Commission on elections and referenda in Belarus, reports “Gundogar”. According to, they will take part in the observation of elections of the President of Turkmenistan, scheduled for 12 February this year.

In total, is expected arrive in Turkmenistan about 60 international observers representing States members of the Commonwealth of independent States, the Inter-parliamentary Assembly of States members of the Commonwealth, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia, the CIS Executive Committee.
CEC Turkmenistan has registered 8 candidates. However, the main contender for the Presidency is incumbent head of State Gurbanguly Berdymuhammedov.
