The Belarusian authorities are planning a June 1, 2011 to increase the rate of export duty on potash fertilizers 1.5 times up to 75 euros per tonne for the countries – members of the Eurasian Economic Community. This solution is fixed by decree of President of Belarus № 179 dated May 4, 2011.
According to state structures, “the decision taken for the receipt of additional funds to the national budget.” They also informed that at present the export duty on potash is 50 euros per tonne.
As reported BakuToday, april 28, CEO of the Belarusian enterprises Vladimir Nikolaenko reported that Turkmenistan plans to sell potash to the future through enterprise JSC “Belarusian Potash Company” (BPC).
