Sverdlovsk Regional Court announced the verdict the former Director General of the car group “DDT” Ravil Khakimov and his 17 accomplices. As reported July 7 correspondent BakuToday the press service of the court, the result revealed that Khakimov, engaging in commercial activities for the sale of motor vehicles, in order to eliminate competitors and created a criminal organization structure is included in a gang. On account of the criminal group – a series of grave and especially grave crimes, a number of attacks on citizens and organizations. Most crimes were committed between 2001 and 2004, when members of the gang was organized by the nine attacks. Some of the victims survived. The court found the defendants guilty of crimes under Article 209 of the Criminal Code (robbery), 210 (organization of criminal association or participation in it), Art. 105 (murder), and others Hakimova sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 25 years with a fine of 1 million rubles. The first 12 years he will serve in prison, and later – in a penal colony. The remaining 17 members of the gang were sentenced to terms ranging from 8.5 to 23 years in a penal colony with the recovery of fines. The minimum term was Oleg Stepanchenko, and the maximum – 23 years Constantine Okhlopkov. The latter was also sentenced to a fine of $ 1 million and deprived of a special rank, a police captain. Sentence may be appealed in cassation.
