President of Romania has appointed premier head of foreign intelligence

«««President of Romania Traian Basescu appointed a new Prime Minister, head of the foreign intelligence service (SVR), Mihai-Razvan Ungureanu and instructed him to form a new Government. On the evening of 6 February, Basescu said at a briefing in Bucharest, correspondent BakuToday .

Basescu noted that the approval of the new Government during the 10-day deadline to the Parliament, the Premier-designate had already Tuesday, 7 February, will start consultations with the parliamentary majority on the programme and composition of the Cabinet of Ministers.

“It is a great responsibility that I consciously taking ourselves, given the complexity of the post itself, and especially the delicate context in which we now find ourselves, said in turn the Ungureanu after appointment. -I have experience in the management of institutions that managed to modernize and reached great achievements is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the FOREIGN INTELLIGENCE SERVICE. And I intend to use this experience to make state management efficient and my political independence guarantees me the necessary space for the execution of the mandate “.

In turn, the leaders of the opposition Social-Liberal Alliance Kerin Antonescu and Victor Ponta has already stated that they did not support the adoption of the new Government, would continue to boycott Parliament and will push for the resignation of the President and of the early parliamentary elections.
