Putin promises that student dormitories will be more

500 thousand square meters of student dormitories were planned in the next three years. This was reported today, 25 January, Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin meeting with students at Tomsk Polytechnic University.

According to Putin, the shortage of hostels-one of the most serious student issues. “Last year was built around 50 thousand square meters, it is a little,” said the premier.

In addition, Putin noted that the authorities will continue to allocate money to repair existing hostels. “Last year to repair the student dormitories was 3.2 billion rubles, but the amount will increase,” he said.
