The political system still requires improvement. This opinion was expressed by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev met with leaders of parliamentary parties on July 12.
Medvedev also said that Russia needs to decentralization. “In my opinion, our political system requires further improvement, I think you got me here in this respect all support it. It is not frozen, the more so after a resting phase, it now came to a certain movement. I think it’s a good idea,” – said Medvedev. “We have a super-centralized country” – the president said, stressing that “only the federal agencies in the territories is about a thousand pieces, and each of them is looking for a job.”
The President also expressed his hope that the State Duma elections will be transparent and democratic.
