«««Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov supported a pilot project in energy savings. That’s what he said today, 9 February, during a meeting with the directors of research institutes in the field of energy efficiency, reporter BakuToday in Kiev from ssìlkoj to information of the press service of the Government.
“What we need is a realistic solution, which should be based on the opportunities that we have to ensure the most efficient use of existing resources and be forward-looking. In addition, the head of Government recalled that frosts have pluses and minuses of the energy system of Ukraine. Remember, 25 January Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has instructed the Ministry of power and coal industries, together with the Ministry of economy to develop a strategic national programme of energy saving and energy efficiency. 7 February Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych’s speech at the opening of the 10-th session of the Verkhovna Rada of the sixth convocation stated that a priority for Ukraine in 2012, significantly enhancing energy security through advanced energy-saving technologies and diversification of energy supply.
