The State Duma of the RUSSIAN FEDERATION would create on a parity basis sectarian working group on complaints against CEC and CEC of Russia. As correspondent BakuToday, the Duma said in a statement that the House included in the agenda of the session of 27 January. Also, the Working Group will address the improvement of legislation regulating the work of electoral commissions. “We are ready to continue changing current legislation in the part of the greater transparency of the elections in order to make the electoral process more fair and honest,” he said in a statement.
“Respecting the choice of voters, we believe that all of the identified violations should be investigated, and based on the results of the investigations, the UK, Russia, the authorities of the RUSSIAN FEDERATION, the guilty will be punished,” noted parliamentarians.
Reporting to the draft statement, the head of the Duma Committee for constitutional law and gosstroitel′stvu Vladimir Pligin (“United Russia”) drew attention to the fact that the document signed by the representatives of three factions, Mikhail Yemelyanov from “fair Russia” document is not signed.
Note that the State Duma has refused to include in the agenda of the meetings a draft statement proposed by three opposition factions–the COMMUNIST PARTY, “fair Russia” and the LDPR, which raised the question of distrust of the head of the CEC. Opposition proposes “to form election commissions at all levels on the basis of party representation on the basis of parity.” In the proposed draft statement by the State Duma said CEC Chairman Churov of mistrust and invites him to lay down their powers as a member of the CEC. In addition, the opposition proposed the General Procuracy, the investigating Committee and the Ministry of internal affairs in the shortest possible time to conduct thorough and impartial investigations into all cases of violations of election laws during the election of deputies of the State Duma of the sixth convocation.
