The State Duma of the Russian Federation will send observers to the elections of the President of Turkmenistan

Russian State Duma on February 10 will send observers to the elections of the President of Turkmenistan. As correspondent BakuToday, february 8, reported the head of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs and relations with compatriots leonid slutsky (LDPR). According to the delegation, a total of seven people, formed on the kvotnomu principle. It will consist of four deputies from the faction “United Russia” and one from CPRF, LDPR and “fair Russia”. Headed by Duma observers Ildar Gil′mudinov (“United Russia”). Slutsky also indicated that the deputies will represent Russia in the CIS mission.

Election of the President of Turkmenistan will take place February 12. On this post, there are vesem′ candidates. Six were nominated by public organizations and associations, including the Acting President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and two candidates-initiative groups of citizens.
